Principal Medin Lamichhane felicitated with Managerial Excellence in Education Award
Management Association of Nepal MAN felicitated our Principal Medin Lamichhane with the award for Managerial Excellence in Education for the year 2018 during its 38th National Management Convention held in Kathmandu on 12th February 2019. Principal Lamichhane received the award from the Right Honorable Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli. The award was bestowed upon in recognition of his achievement of managerial excellence in education by promoting superior quality and building a strong institution for life-changing learning and development of the youth in the country.
Principal Lamichhane has given almost two decades in the education sector. Starting off as an English teacher, not only did he take various educational training to equip himself as an expert, but he also imparted everything he learnt to various educational officials across many corners of the country, with a concept to integrate the same in as many local academic institutions as possible.
Likewise, he has been a fundamental part of Ullens since its inception in 2006. With his managerial excellence, Ullens has made it to stand where it is today. It holds the recognition of the first and only IB World School in the country. It has been running the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program IBDP. It is operating Grades 1-12 based on the national curriculum enriched by the Ullens philosophy that is inspired by the Bank Street Progressive Approach to Education.
Earlier the day after the award ceremony i.e. February 13, 2019, Grade IX students of Ullens extended congratulations to Principal Lamichhane, reaching his office. The students were seen exceptionally glad about the award presented to their Principal.

It is an important forum for developing management professionalism that has a strong membership base of over 2650 individuals and 250 institutions from different disciplines and sectors of the Nepali economy and society.
