DLE Award for Academic Excellence

Aarusha Bista and Prerana Dhakal of Grade IX of Ullens School received a district level honor for achieving outstanding results in the District Level Examinations (DLE) of 2071. Presented by the District Education Office of Lalitpur annually, the award recognizes academic achievements of the top 10 performers in the district. Aarusha was able to secure 7th position in the DLE of 2071, while Prerana was able to secure 9th position. Congratulations Aarusha Bista and Prerana Dhakal. You have made us all proud.
Grade II and III celebrate 'Class Day'

Students of Grade II and III celebrated their 'Class Day' amidst a function at the auditorium of Ullens School. Students exhibited different songs, dances and athletic events like human pyramid and Wushu during the event. Similarly, art and craft works of the students were also up for exhibition during the event.
Ullens School supports Jayanti Memorial Trust

Ullens School feels privileged to share the pride of being associated with the Jayanti Memorial Trust in the 4th Annual Fundraiser Collaboration event. Established in the memory of Princess Jayanti Shah, the grand-daughter of Late King Tribhuwan Bir Bikra Shah Dev, the trust has been rendering its services to cardiac issues, awareness for cardiac health and to support financially deprived patients for their medication.
Professional Development (PD) Workshop: Transportation Department

Drivers and assistants were oriented about different traffic symbols, rules and different issues surrounding safe transportation of school children. 54 members of the transportation department of Ullens School were involved in a professional development workshop facilitated by Sitaram Hachhethu, Senior Inspector of Traffic Police.
IB Theater presents Property Rites

The theatre students of IB Diploma Programme of Ullens School staged a play called 'Property Rites' on January 28, 29 and 30. Written by playwright Alan Haehnel, the play is themed to define the line between robots and human. The major characters of the play include 14 robotic machines that are human like and an owner trying to sell these masterpieces. While the play was staged as part of the curriculum content of the Diploma Programme, it also raised proceeds for the IBDP Project Week 2016.
Discussion and Paper Presentation: Letter Grading Implementation Procedure 2072

Medin Lamichhane, the Principal of Ullens School presented a paper on letter grading system to 200 school leaders and head teachers of Lalitpur. During the event the principal discussed about the history, practices, challenges and implementation procedure of letter grading system in schools. He also discussed about the Letter Grading Implementation Procedure 2072. Prominent education journalist Sudarshan Ghimire commented on the paper.
Strategic Meet 2016 – Nala

Since its inception, Ullens School has been focusing on being a center of excellence in education. In lieu to this, the school is planning to create an outdoor learning facility in Nala. The strategic meet was organized to discuss these plans with alumni, parent representatives, management leaders of the school and local community.
Alumni Visit the School

The alumni of Ullens School IBDP visited the school to share their experiences in different colleges and universities around the world and in Nepal. Graduates of different years shared their opinions about the strengths of the IBDP, the application process of their college and the world beyond high school education. Post event, the graduates spent time with their teachers in a refreshment session. The school would like to thank the alumni members for their presence. We hope that our students learned a lot of things from their seniors and will help them plan their future.
Ullens School Post Earthquake Actions: Volunteering to the needs of the nation

Apart from these relief works, the school’s Earthquake Relief Action Project also distributed construction materials for 20 households, which included 30 bundles of GI sheets and necessary tools required for the construction of temporary dome shelters. A team of 8 people helped the people to construct these shelters. The team also distributed 36 30kg sacks of rice, 120kg lentil, 72l cooking oil and 90kg of salt. The project was carried out in Sotaa and Dandabari Villages of Chitwan District.
