This award started with a purpose of reaching out to a wider, underprivileged, youth population of Nepal, targeting academically high achieving students from economically disadvantaged background.
In the year 2018, Ullens School first announced the Ullens Excellence Award Scholarship for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and later from 2019 opened it for its National Board Examination (NEB) level.
The selection is administered by a special selection committee comprising of representative of the Board, representative of the Executive Committee, Principal, Vice-Principal and respective coordinators of IBDP and NEB programs.
The selection process for the scholarship begins after the results of the SEE examination are announced. Scholarship announcements are made through notices in the media and on Ullens School’s official social media platforms.
