Ullens Center for Educator Development (UCED)

Ullens Center for Educator Development (UCED) is the teacher training wing of Ullens Education Foundation, operating in collaboration with Kathmandu University. UCED strengthens the professional capacity of educators across Nepal through accredited programs in leadership transformation and progressive education.

UCED offers credit and non-credit, short- and long-term training programs for government and private school teachers, school leaders, and aspiring educators; equipping them to lead, manage classrooms, and foster student-centered learning. Our workshops and courses blend theory with practice, helping educators integrate progressive pedagogy into everyday teaching. All programs are academically accredited by Kathmandu University School of Education.

“Through UCED, we’ve been equipping educators with transformative teaching techniques to enrich classroom learning. Our programs serve both the teachers of Ullens Network and those beyond it. Our core mission is to share Ullens approach to progressive education with as many educators as possible, ensuring all children experience meaningful learning. That’s why we’re actively expanding our reach to private schools, community schools, educational institutions, and among school leaders, academicians, and educators across Nepal.”

– Sanjay Adhikari, Director of UCED
