Ullens School

The flagship program of UEF, Ullens School, has become a household name in Nepal recognized as a trustworthy institution delivering world-class education to hundreds of students. Together, Ullens School in Khumaltar and Ullens School Kathmandu serve more than 1,400 learners.

Ullens School in Khumaltar: Offers classes from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Ullens School Kathmandu: Runs programs from Kindergarten to Grade 10.

Both schools are managed independently by their leadership teams under the guidance of their Principals. Oversight of academic programs is provided by Mr. Medin Lamichhane, Chief Academic Officer (CAO), who has been instrumental in building the Ullens School community since UEF’s inception.

Ullens LEAP

Ullens LEAP – Life-long Learning, Empathy, Accountability, Pushing Your Boundaries – is first-of-its-kind program designed for students taking a gap year. The program bridges higher education and career preparedness by offering a strong academic foundation across diverse subjects, complemented by leadership and personal growth skill-building, technological fluency and insights from the country’s leading experts. LEAP provides a space for exploration, reflection and transformation, tailored for students ready to step into their potential. The program equips students with essential life skills, enabling confident transitions into higher studies and long-term success.

Ullens College

Starting in 2025, UEF launched Ullens College, offering holistic and interdisciplinary university-level programs that aim to develop ethically grounded problem-solvers. The college provides courses across diverse fields, including Computer Science and Technology, Agriculture and Climate Science, Education, Business and more, with the long-term vision of evolving into Ullens University.

Ullens Center for Educator Development (UCED)

Ullens Center for Educator Development (UCED) is the teachers’ training wing of UEF that conducts credit and non-credit professional development courses for aspiring teachers, educators and educational leaders. UCED offers short- and long-term training programs equipping them to lead, manage classrooms and foster student-centered learning. The courses blend theory with practice, helping educators integrate progressive pedagogy into everyday teaching.

Ullens Outdoor Learning Center

To complement the formal schooling curriculum, UEF also runs the Ullens Outdoor Learning Center, spread across more than 400 ropanis of pristine land in Nala, Kavre, just 7 km from the town of Banepa. The Outdoor Learning Center is a safe, green and environmentally friendly space that blends seamlessly into the natural landscape, providing children and young adults with opportunities to learn and play in nature. The center addresses the growing need for students from city schools to reconnect with the natural world and inspires future generations to value and protect the environment. In the coming years, the OLC will be repurposed to further support students’ learning.
